Payment Accepted / Rates
We accept cash, checks, and most major insurance. Many insurance plans cover acupuncture but rates and benefits vary. To find out if you have coverage under your plan, you can call your provider directly or complete and submit the preinsurance form and we can check for you. In all cases, payment is due at the time of service.
We will provide a receipt for you to submit to your provider for reimbursement. If your acupuncture is not covered by insurance, your payments may be considered medical expenses that are deductible on your taxes. If you have a flex plan through your workplace, you may also be able to use that account to cover the cost of treatment.
Insurance companies are covering acupuncture more today than ever before. The best way to determine whether your carrier pays for acupuncture is to call them directly. In all cases, you pay for the treatment and receive a receipt that you send to your insurance company for reimbursement. If you are not covered by insurance, you can still consider your payments as medical expenses that you may be able to write off on your taxes. If you have a flex plan through your workplace, that account often covers the cost of treatment.
